The founder of Sanxi, Mr. Yang, hails from a humble background in a village in Longgang, a small city renowned for its printing industry in China. In this city, nearly every family was involved in some aspect of the printing business, rendering it more commonplace than esteemed. Prior to venturing into this industry, Mr. Yang explored various means of livelihood, including apprenticing in tofu-making and driving a taxi. Over time, he discovered his passion and aptitude for printing and pondered how to leverage the unique societal atmosphere to his advantage. Given the prevailing lack of serious consideration for printing techniques in his hometown, he contemplated seeking opportunities in other cities. However, for a young individual, especially from an economically disadvantaged background, plucking up the courage to depart from one's birthplace is always a daunting prospect.
In 1999, Mr. Yang made a pivotal decision to pursue opportunities in Shanghai, a city far more developed than Longgang. He often toiled late into the night, sustaining himself on little more than rice and water. Armed with acquired knowledge and experience, he established Shanghai Sanxi Paper Products Co., Ltd. in 2003. Mr. Yang firmly believed that through diligent effort, success was inevitable. Consequently, despite modest beginnings with just a handful of staff, Sanxi garnered steady recognition from customers owing to its exceptional product quality and punctual delivery.
In 2010, Sanxi embarked on its first collaboration with Japanese clients renowned for their stringent procurement standards. This partnership laid the groundwork for subsequent international market expansion. In 2011, Sanxi applied for its initial two patents simultaneously, one for a unique paper bag handle and the other for an innovative paper cushion design. These inventions swiftly gained popularity in both the Chinese and Japanese markets.
By 2023, Sanxi had acquired over 20 patents and fostered partnerships with customers from diverse countries including the US, Japan, Germany, Singapore, Korea, Malaysia, and Indonesia, among others. Over more than two decades of development, Sanxi has emerged as a leading paper products manufacturer in China, serving as a trusted collaborative partner for numerous clients.
